Names II

For those interested in that conversation thread--there has been a good comment added recently by Proud Mum for teachers in particular, but true for any and everyone when faced with a family member or friend choosing a name you absolutely hate. Thank you, Proud Mum!

you know... generally speaking, we tend to the think the name makes the child, but really, the child makes the name.

therefore, i once again, propose... Spam.

Angel, I like your suggestions, except: Sydney dounds like a girl/boy name to me as I've know a couple female Sydney's and it is too close to Cindy to siound masculine to me. Also, Dallin's middle name is Andrew, so I doubt that is a good one for another child for Sariah.

Jessa is different and I kinda like it, but I think I'd have to leave out an a and make the second suggestion Lurana [perhaps adding a second n...Luranna, just because...]

FF- Oh too see how your brain works...Spam? How doi you DO it?

Sariah, I hope you are reading all this--your friends are going to great lengths tpo help you out here! At least aknowlege that you are getting all these wonderful suggestions!

Sariah must be mad at one of us -we've all read her blog and noticed the radio silence since then.

And we all know there is not life outside of blogland so it couldn't be that she's busy!

Sariah--busy? Surely you jest! You mean she's not just out there to provide us with reason to talk? With reason to blog? Sigh. And we're all trying so hard to be helpful, too.

I loved your "lessons learned" post... sounds like my life, but you forgot to allow comments on it, so I had to comment here...

Congrats on getting ODOT's attention!

Thanks, April--I have a problem with the comments thing.
Will fix :)

I think I finally put a real suggestion somewhere else...but just in case...

OK, I admit it. We are watching "24" in chunks. But the more I think about it, the more I like Kiefer. And it is a "family name", well, sorta. It is a surname only 9 generations back from the expected baby! :)
